At the time if his eldest brother's 1934 obituary, he was living in Idaho. When his youngest brother died 20 years later, in 1954, he was listed as of "Long Beach, California."
At the time of the 1940 census, he was living in the Veteran's Home of California, in Napa. He was listed as age 69, born ca 1871 in Canada. He was divorced, and had lived in San Francisco, California five years previously. He had completed the Eighth grade. (Source 1940 US Census, Napa, Napa, California; Roll: T627_269; Page: 6A; Enumeration District: 28-13).
The California Death Index has a Thomas W. Mark listed, born 22 Oct 1873 and died 9 July 1967 in Los Angeles. This is possibly his listing, but should be verifed through other sources as the Mother's Maiden name was shown as SHAW, not McLEAN, and the place of birth was shown as California, not Canada.

Might she be connected to the Perkins family? Her middle son was named Price Perkins McLemore.
Additionally, in the book "Laurus Crawfurdiana, Memorials of That Branch of the Crawford Family which comprises The Descendants of John Crawford of Virginia 1660-1883 With Notices of Allied Family", (Privately Printed, New York, 1883, p 107), it is noted that Nancy G. Perkins---an older sister to the Leah Prior Perkins that married Robert McLemore as his second wife--married Wm. Marr, his (sic) cousin, son of Jno. and Susanna Marr.
Finally, an unsourced "Historical Person Search result" for Elizabeth Marr, wife of John Dabney McLemore, shows her as a daughter of William Miller MARR and Nancy Green PERKINS.
On the annotated transcription of Harpers Chapel Cemetery, she is shown as a daughter of William Lawson MARR and Amanda Elizabeth COFFE.

Funeral service for Joada Korgan will be 11 a.m., Mon., Oct. 22, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Elder John Moyer, Pastor Dan Jensen, and Pastor Harvey Gil officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sun. 1-6 p.m.
Joada passed away Wed., Oct. 17, 2012, at her home at the age of 80.
The daughter of Robert and Myrtle Marsh was born July 5, 1932, in a small house in Pea Green, CO.
She grew up in that farm house through the seventh grade. They sold the farm and moved to Delta, CO, at the start of her 8th grade year and by God's grace she was able to attend Campion Academy throughout high school. These were hallmark years for Joada. She remained in close contact with many friends from there until the day she went to sleep. Every year she strived to attend Alumni weekend at Campion and looked forward to those trips.
After high school graduation, Joada attended Union College in Lincoln, NE. It was here that she became acquainted with and eventually married Darrell Beyer. After Darrell graduated in 1953, they relocated to South Dakota for a short time before being called to Ketchum, OK, where they would teach in the Adventist School System. Joada and Darrell were soon blessed with two healthy, BIG, baby boys: Douglas Eric Beyer and Allan Robert Beyer.
Joada was a woman of many talents! Besides being a devoted wife, mother, and teacher, she took a cosmetology class and became a hairdresser. She worked out of her home as a hairdresser for many years. Eventually she went on to complete her education and received her Masters Degree from the University of Tulsa. Unfortunately, she and Darrell were divorced in 1970.
In 1973, Joada remarried Dennis McGehee and inherited two more BIG boys: Dennis James McGehee and Randall Wayne McGehee. She and Dennis were married for 18 years until he passed away from cancer in 1992.
In September 1992, Julius Korgan swept her off her feet! Joada and Julius had been friends for a long time already. In fact, at one time, Julius was her teacher. Joada happily embraced an additional four adult children: Dwight Korgan and his wife, Christy, Allen Korgan, Heather Korgan and her husband, Mike, and Barbara and her husband, Richard Olt.
Joada has been a loving mother and grandmother to not only her biological children and grandchildren, but also to her extended family.
Joada was very active in the Claremore Seventh Day Adventist Church. In her own words, her "greatest desire is that ALL of us be in Heaven when Jesus comes back to take us home." In her last days, she said, "Each one of you means more to me than you can even imagine. I could write pages about what love I have for you, but hopefully I have shared enough of that love so that you all know how precious you are to me. Should I go before any of you, just carry that love in your hearts and minds and make a promise to meet me in Heaven."
Joada is survived by her husband, Julius; sons and wives: Doug and Bernice and Al and Sharon; grandchildren: Shannon, Ron and Trever Lepp, Andy, Tyler, and Aurora Beyer, and Ericca and Arin Beyer; and sisters-in-law: Margaret Marsh and Faye Marsh. She also has many step-children and grandchildren that she loved very dearly.

Alexander Marshall, son of the foregoing (Thomas Marshall, a native of Wales) and father of the subject (Junius S. Marshall), was born in Maryland, March 24, 1790. He went with his parents to Virginia when quite young, remaining in that state until about the 1818, at which time he immigrated to Kentucky and located in Hardinsburg, where he engaged in the shoe-making and grocery business. After a few years spent in the town he moved about one mile and a half south to the place where subject (Junius) now lives, on which farm he located, and on which his death occurred January 6, 1867. (Ralph Marshall copied this from an article discovered in the summer of 1980 in the Kansas City, Missouri Public Library from the "History of Kentucky, Illustrated 1887 pps. 1072-1073).
Ralph Marshall writes that eight deeds are recorded for Alexander Marshall between 1816 and 1829. All mention either Goose Creek, Dick's Branch or Amos Branch, a tributary of Goose Creek. Alexander made application in 1819 to erect a saw mill on Amos Branch but the only land purchase shown prior to that year was 30 acres on waters of Goose Creek in 1816. Alexander and Elizabeth purchased 80 acres on Amos Branch in 1821, the year they apparently moved to Breckinridge county, Kentucky, and then sold it for $250 to Thomas Wade in 1829.
At the time of the 1830 Federal Census for Kentucky, the household of Alexander Marshall is listed as follows:
Two males under age 5, one male between the age of 5-10, one male between the age of 10 and 15, and one male between the age of 40 and 50, one female under age 5, 3 females between the ages of 5-10, one female between the age of 10-15, and one female between the age of 30 and 40.

A similar obituary was published in the July 4, 2012 issue of The Sabine County Reporter, page 16.
Known as Miss Callie Marshall. She apparently never married. Lived with her parents in LaGrange in 1870 and with her brother Silas in Little Rock in 1880 and 1900. In 1910, she was living with John and Elizabeth O'Neill, and listed as John's "Aunt-in-law."
Obituary from the Duncan Banner Friday, March 7, 1913
(Courtesy of Lynell Cordell)
Miss Callie Marshall Dead, Cousin to Vice-President
Miss Callie Marshall, aged 77 years, died at the home of Mr. John O'Neill in this city Sunday morning and the remains were shipped to LaGrange, Mo., for interment. She had been in fairly good health, but the death of a brother in California the week previous caused a nervous shock which hastened the ravages of disease.
Miss Marshall had been a resident of Duncan some time. She was an aunt of Mrs. O'Neill and an own cousin to Vice-President Marshall, besides being well connected in other respects. Though known to only a few people in Duncan, she had their esteem and love and her death came as a severe blow. The Banner joins in the universal expressions of sympathy in the death of this good woman.
(Immediately below the obituary appeared the following brief article:)
Quincy, Ill., March 5.--At almost the same time that Vice President Thomas R. Marshall was inaugurated Tuesday, funeral services were conducted for one of his relatives at LaGrange, Mo. ten miles north of here, the boyhood home of Mr. Marshall. It was the funeral of Miss Callie Marshall, 77 years old, a cousin who died at Duncan, Okla. last Saturday.
NOTE: Death Certificate #2553 said death was due to acute indigestion. Bird O'Neill was informant on death certificate.
Ken Harvey cites Lewis County, Missouri Marriage Book 1, Page 77, and shows that Cinderella was married on 15 Aug 1839 to Frederick Keenaash (1815-1845), and shows their children as Mary (1840-1847), Lavinia (1842-1845), and Catherine (1845-1847).
He also indicates that her husband and three children died in the space of two years and seven months. She returned home to live with her parents. She lived with her parents in the 1850 (H/Cinderilia KENOSH) 1860 (Cinderella F. Marshall) and 1870 census (Cardwell (sic) KEENOSH). She died at the age of 57 years and eleven months.

Excerpt of article, transcribed by Ralph Marshall, about Junius Marshall:
To Alexander and Elizabeth Marshall were born twelve children, only four of whom are now living: Edwin, Jane, Emily and Junius S. The last named was born in Breckinridge County April 18, 1834. He was educated in the common schools of the country, which he attended at intervals until his twenty-first year, but by far the greater part of his education has been obtained in later life, as he has always been a ready and practical observer. He took charge of the home place after reaching his majority, looking after his parents' interests in the meantime, and in 1862 purchased the farm of his father, and since resided upon the same. Mr. Marshall's home, which is one of the best in the vicinity of Hardinsburg, consists of 350 acres of good land, one mile and a half south of town, on the Hartford road, and is well improved and under succesful cultivation. Mr. Marshall has been a very successful farmer, and is in every respect a true type of the quiet, law abiding, country gentleman. He married, July 22, 1863, Artemissa, daughter of Robert and Nancy (Scott) Payne. Mrs. Marshall was born in Breckinridge County on December 18, 1844. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall are the parents of the following children: Nannie, Lizzie, Lucy (deceased), Thomas E., Emily F. (deceased), Willie, Samuel, Humphrey, Robert A., Mary, and Idah. Mr. Marshall is a Democrat in politics; belongs to the Masonic fraternity, and is an active member of the Methodist Church. He and his wife belong to the Oakland congregation. Ralph Marshall copied this from an article discovered in the summer of 1980 in the Kansas City, Missouri Public Library from the "History of Kentucky, Illustrated 1887 pps. 1072-1073."

Kay Parker McCary, in her annotated transcription of the Fairmount Cemetery, shows her as Martha "Mattie" C. Elizabeth MARSHALL, a daughter of Alexander J. MARSHALL and Nancy G. WESTBROOK. There is a photo of her grave marker on FindAGrave. Her name is inscribed as Mattie Marshall Clark. There are no dates or other information inscribed.
In THE PAYNES OF VIRGINIA by Brooke Payne, it is noted that she is the daughter of "Silas Marshall of Lagrange, Mo." This is not correct, Silas is actually her brother.
Following marriage in about 1844, the young couple were living next door to Martha's parents in Lewis Co., Missouri.
Fay Payne Yeager found the family on the 1850 census is Lewis County, Missouri.
Dorothy (known as Dotty Bob) Thompson has a Marshall family bible that may have information in it.
Her tombstone in Marlow Cemetery gives her date of birth as 27 Mar 1827; that is exactly one year after what family records show as her her actual birthdate. It is possible that the tombstone is incorrect.
She was 74 at the time of her death, and had been living with her youngest son, Walter and his wife Gertrude at the time of the 1900 census, taken a few months prior to her death.
