Parents of Mary "Mollie" Hardwick. Maybe John David HARDWICK and Sarah DUNEPHIN?
Thomas Payne, Mollie's widower, registered in the Chickasaw Tribe based on his marriage to her. She was Chickasaw by blood. Viki Anderson, on her website
http://www.roark-family.org/Loves/TheLoves.asp, shows that John David Hardwick and his first wife, Sarah Dunephin had a child (name and sex not listed) that would be the correct age. Mollie was born not quite nine months after the date of their marriage. This appears to be the only family into which Mollie Hardwick could fit, but so far we have not found definitive proof. Please contact us is you can help us either verify or disprove this connection.

Parents of John McLemore of NC and Texas
He was born in 1822 in North Carolina, and can be found in Decatur Co., Georgia, with his wife and in-laws, the Morgan's. The Morgan family was from Sampson County, NC, so it is assumed John McLemore is from as well. After examining the available land and census records of all the McLemore families in Sampson county, it that the most likely anwer is that John McLemore is a son of Tobias and Sallie McLemore. This is not know definitively, however, and any evidence to either support or refute this conclusion would be most appreciated.

Is this Abraham Cutting? Is he the Father or Brother of Royal Cutting?
Is this the father of Royal Cutting? It was among a group of Cutting tintypes given to a descendant. The tintypes were said to be photos of Royal Cutting and his son, Glenn Cutting, Sr. It is possible that this an early photo of Royal Cutting. However the color of the subject's eyes appear much lighter than Royal's eyes do in other photos. It was therefore assumed this might be a photo of Glenn Cutting, Sr. However, Janice Cutting Stevens, Glenn Cutting, Sr.'s granddaughter, says this is not a photo of her grandfather. She writes that although it might be of Royal, she suspects this is actually a photo of Royal's father, Abraham Cutting. The photo itself also appears to be older than the others in the group, which would support this conclusion. Cindy Kapiton suggested that this might instead be a photo of Royal's older brother, also named Abraham. The exact identity, however, is still unknown.
