Alricks Burkett was a native of Jasper County, Texas, he worked for South Park Independence School District until his retirement. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He and Ruby Ray Boyett, a Newton County native, were married in Beaumont in 1942. This photo was probably taken around the time of their 50th wedding anniversary in 1992.
