Ancestral Region in Czech Republic
The Soukup family was from Kortya, a small village near Pilsen, and approximately 60 miles to the west of Prague. The Beznoska family was from Beroun, an administrative center akin to a "county seat". It lies on the motorway that connects Pilsen with Prague, closer to Prague than to Pilsen.
