Easley, Col. Sidney Price from Hemphill, Texas

Col. Easley was born and reared in Yellowpine and was a 1932 graduate of Hemphill High School. He taught school at several East Texas locations before joining the Army Air Corps in 1941. He retired in 1971 from Headquarters, Air Training Command at Randolph Air Force Base after 30 years of service. Col. Easley was a command pilot and flew B-17 and B-24 aircraft.
