Certified copy of the Unconditional headright of 1280 acres of land granted to Gabriel Blackburn on August 1, 1838. The headright stated that he has resided three years in the Republic of Texas and performed all the duties req. of him as a citizen. This certified copy of the original was provided by the Sabine County Clerk on 5 April 1856, presumably in connection with issues relating to Gabriel Blackburn's estate.
