Ezell, great-aunt of Lillian Clark, Braden Ezell and Jacob Ezell, step-mother of Kevin Gault McLemore and Regan Geren McLemore, passed away in Nashville, TN on September 19, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Charlie Rucker, and her grandparents, Marie Louise and Louis Plauche'. Born in New Orleans, LA, she attended Isidore Newman High School and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Sophie Newcomb College. During her Debut season, she reigned as Queen of the Olympians and was presented at the Debutante Club, the Founders of the City of New Orleans and the Society of the War of 1812. She worked as a Social Worker for the City of New Orleans. Upon her retirement, she moved to Bay St. Louis, MS where she was very active in the art community. She traveled extensively in Europe and painted many canvases from her travels, especially from Provence. After Katrina, she and her husband moved to St. Francisville, LA until 2011 when they moved to Waveland to be close to her sister and her family and her friends. Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
