  Notes	Cass City Chronicle June 1, 1951 Page Ten Automobile Accident Causes Death of William H. Moreton Burial services for William H. Moreton, 65, of Detroit were conducted Saturday afternoon by Dean Weaver of St. Paul's Cathedral. Moreton died Wednesday, May 23, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident the previous day when the car, in which he and his business partner, George H. Cheney, were riding, skidded and crashed into a tree on US-10 during a storm. A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, he moved to Detroit in 1916 and resided in that city until the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Stiffler Moreton, who is a sister of Mrs. John Sandham and Mrs. Angus MacPhail of Cass City. Dean Weaver also officiated at the funeral rites which were held in St. Paul's Cathedral in Detroit at 11 o'clock on Saturday. (Transcribed by Melinda McLemore Strong, February 2008)
