  Notes	Edward J. Blazek February 12, 1923 - April 12, 2009 Edward J. Blazek of Grand Junction died Sunday, April 12, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was 86 years of age. Edward was born February 12, 1923 at Cleveland, OH to James and Mame Jarus Blazek. He graduated from Orange High School in Pepper Pike, OH and served in the U. S. Army during WWII. On September 23, 1950 Edward married Cleo K. Jirousek. During his working years Edward was self-employed and was a watchmaker. He lived in Cleveland, OH, Orange Village, OH, Bainbridge, OH and Glenwood Springs, CO before moving to Grand Junction, CO in 1986. Edward enjoyed fishing. Edward is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Pesek and Evelyn Krafcik and a niece, Patricia Krafcik. His wife preceded him in death. Cremation has taken place and private family services are scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado at 2830 D Road, Grand Junction, CO 81501 or Veterans Affairs Hospital at 2121 North Avenue, Grand Junction, CO 81501.
