  Notes	BARTKOWIAK, Norbert A. of Saginaw, Michigan. Passed away on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Cartwright Care Center. Age 86. The son of the late Anstisia (Karchivie) and Andrew Bartkowiak was born on November 26, 1925 in Detroit, MI. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII overseas. He married Elaine A. Wagner in July of 1948; she survives him. Norbert worked for United Wholesale for over 30 years and owned his own company; A+ Seamless Gutter. He was a Sunday School Teacher and member of the VFW Post in North Branch. Norbert enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, gardening, sports especially the Detroit Tigers and spending time with his family. Surviving besides his wife of 63 years, Elaine; are his children; Robert (Cindy) Bartkowiak, Ronald (Sandi) Bartkowiak, Randy (Mimi) Bartkowiak; four granddaughters and two grandsons; Christina, Jamie, Jenna, Ashley, Matthew, Dakota; four great-grandchildren; Kyle, Chloe, Kaitlin, Kaiden; two sisters and one brother and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Linda Jean Bartkowiak and several brothers and sisters. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at W.L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Don Milton will officiate with military burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the auspices of the V.F.W. Post 1859. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Friday from 4:00-8:00p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
