4. James Brooks, m. 1746, Elizabeth Smith (sic, other records show he was born to James Brooks by his second wife, a THOMASON)
James Brooks (1725-1800) served in the South Carolina militia as private
under Colonel Anderson. He was born in North Carolina; died in South
Carolina.
John Fuller (1749-1810) served as private under General Gates in South
Carolina militia. He was born and died in Camden District, S. C.
