- Was on the 1850 Itawamba County, Mississippi census with Wm. Watson McDaniel and family, and they came through on their way to Texas. Pickins returned to South Carolina. Wm. moved to Texas in time to be listed on the Sabine County Census for the year. (White and Toole, p 47).
Said to have married Eliza SWEARINGEN.
