Funeral services for Jimmy M. Martin, of Wesson, are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Rocky Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wesson.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Martin, 59, died Oct. 7, 2012, at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst. He was born in Mississippi on Oct. 18, 1952, to Leckt and Margaret "Maggie" Bernice Johnson Martin.
He was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and two brothers, Joe Martin and Bob Martin.
Survivors are his wife, Margaret Williams Martin; and sisters, Linda Martin Avara and Bonnie Martin McConnel.

- Quinna Howard Cooper emailed, in July 2013, that they "had 12 children- Lena May, Ola Jane, Alma, Lola, J.D., Med, Wilburn, Mary Agnes(my mother), Bonnie, LeckT, Lucy, and Lessie....they married in either Simpson County, MS or Lawrence County, MS. They both passed away at home in the Stronghope Community outside of Wesson. MS. Papa died in December and Granny died in January, just a month apart. They are both buried in the Cliburn Cemetery in New Hebron, MS."
