- Appears to have been called Hargis, age 5 months, on the 1910 census. His Texas Death Certificate lists him as Walter Hargis Powell, a resident of 402 Neil Pickett, Diboll. His occupation was shown as a retired mechanic in the poultry packing business. He was not a vetaran. His parents were shown as Otto (sic) and Trudy Powell, mother's maiden name not known. Information was his wife, Mrs. Treaburn Powell.
The Texas Marriage index shows that Walter Powell and Treaburn Perkins were married on 24 Aug 1966 in Angelina County, Texas.
