  Notes	The Sabine County Reporter July 5, 1995, Page 8 Arthur Jack Hawthorne, 62, of Brookeland died Friday, June 9, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper. Hawthorned had lived in Brookeland three years and was a retired steel rigger with Texaco. He was a native and former longtime resident of Kirbyville. Survivors: wife, Winnie Faye Hawthorne of Brookeland; sons, Kerry Hawthorne and Kent Hawthorne of Brookeland; daughter, Kim Hawthorne of Kirbyville; brothers, Edward Hawthorne of Vidor and Eston Hawthorne of Orange; sisters, Alice Spillers of Lake Jackson, and Oline Sheffield, Zelma Morgan, and Elcie "Crickett" Armitage, all of Kirbyville; and one grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday at the chapel of String Funeral Home in Kirbyville. Interment followed at Magnolia Springs Cemetery. (Transcribed by Melinda McLemore Strong, May 2009)
