  Notes	Elva was a beautiful woman, who worked as a teacher, and later as an actress. She married late in life, and died of breast cancer the age of 36. Sheryl Falk recalls that her mother, Janet Elva Tisdale was named in honor of Elva, who had died shortly before her birth, or was near death. She was interred at a famous old mausoleum in St. Louis.
