  Notes	Owner of the Hemphill Drug Company, which was underneath the Medical offices of Dr. W.T. Arnold, and next to the Fuller Barber shop, both cousins. In an article dated January 1, 1997 from the SABINE COUNTY REPORTER about the grand opening of Hemphill Drug Company by it's new owners, it is noted that this grand opening included "Leon and Pansy Adickes, also former owners of Hemphill Drug, which was founded in 1912 by Tom (sic) Fuller, father of Mrs. Adickes." In his 2002 book, THE MYSTERY OF LADY BOUNTIFUL, Bob Bowman writes that a $5,000 bond was posted for Lillian Knox, accuses of murdering her husband, timber magnate Hiram Knox. The bond was singed by five Hemphill men, including Dr. Tom ARNOLD, a witness for the prosecution. The other four were E. P PADGETT, a lawyer; J.P. (sic) FULLER, who owned a drug store; L.E. PRATT, a merchant; and John W. MINTON, attorney for the Knox family. Another press report listed S.R. Williams as surety. (Bowman, p. 105). In her weekly Sabine County Reporter column, "On the Bright Side", Mary Howell wrote that she remembered Jim Fuller, "the original owner of the Hemphill Drug Store which was located on the west side of the Hemphill square."
