He is survived by: one son, Jim Strickland of Pineland, TX; two brothers, Carter of Strickland, Jr., and Ted Strickland both of Hemphill, TX; three sisters, Frances Ferguson of Hemphill, TX, Helen Murray of LaPorte, TX, and Irene McDaniel of Houston, TX; two grandchildren, Justin and Robin Duck. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 511 Starr St. Hemphill, TX on Friday, Feb. 24, 2006.
