The Sabine County Reporter March 15, 1995, Page 10 Lillian Marie Langston Lillian Marie Langston, 84, of Newton, died Tuesday, March 7, 1995, at Hines Shady Acres Care Center in Newton. She had lived in Newton 21 years and was a native of Hemphill. Survivors: daughters, Beatrice Hawthorne and Frances Hammaker, both of Newton; sons, James F. Bailey and Tony C. Bailey, both of Newton and Huey Q. Bailey of Jasper; a brother, Adam Buford "A. B." Bennett of Hemphill; 33 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and a number of great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday at Smith Funeral Home, Newton. Interment was at Horten Cemetery, north of Bronson. (Transcribed by Melinda McLemore Strong, April 2009)
