- William was not listed as a child of John and Catherine (Schlote) Cramer in the BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY OF VAN WERT COUNTY, however, he was shown as a son in SENECA COUNTY BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCHES. It appears he is a child of John and Catherine, based both on the biography of his eldest brother, Daniel, and the fact that Daniel lived with him in 1880, and was listed as his brother.
He was a member of the Ebenezer Chapel Society, Bettsville, incorporated May 19, 1865.
