Gerrard Alexander, during the last part of the War of 1812. About 1820 he moved to the area of Bourbon County, Kentucky, where he owned a saw-mill and a large number of slaves. He later moved to Daviess Co., Mo.. He married Talitha Cumi WYATT, and they had eleven children.
