  Notes	The Sabine County Reporter August 17, 1994, Page 10 Eddie Mae Patterson Eddie Mae Strickland Patterson, 64, of Lufkin died Thursday, Aug. 11, 1994. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Gipson's Funeral Home chapel in Lufkin with D.R. McNaughten officiating. Interment followed at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Angelina county. Born June 2, 1930, in Sabine County, she was a longtime resident of the Diboll/Lufkin area. Mrs. Patterson, preceded in death by her husband, James A. Patterson Jr. in 1991, was a member of the Church of God and a retired beautician. Survivors: daughters, Dorothy Barlow of Lufkin, Bessie Ferguson and Jerri Ledford, both of Diboll; sisters, Dorothy Largent and Mary Smith, both of Houston; a brother, James Edward Strickland Jr. of Houston; and grandchildren, Tina Turner, Bubba Nevills, Codie Barlow, Angela Ferguson, Karen Ferguson, Katherine Ledford, and Shellie Ledford.
