- Art Peck wrote that Arlee was a typist for Fidelity Bank, and became supervisor of the check printing department. She was transferred to their main branch in downtown Philadelphia, but quit when the commute became too much. She next worked as a secretary in the Personnel Department of the Delaware County Memorial Hospital. After going to night school to get her degree, she became the Director of Human Resources. She retired in 1983. She resumed her career after six months, working for a Dr. Kim, a neurosurgeon. She retired for good in September, 1989.
Mrs. Harvey was one of the cousins of BonnieMargaret Jacobs who searched their Bibles and records and picture collections to provide information for her 1981 manuscipt about the history of the Benkelman family.
