She was born March 19, 1907, in Cass City, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel and Lena Helwig Jaus. She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church in Cass City. She is survived by a number of cousins. One brother, George, preceded her in death. Funeral services were to be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Little's Funeral Home, Cass City, with Rev. Clare Patton, pastor of the Salem United Methodist Church of Cass City, officiating. Burial will be in Elkland Cemetery, Cass City. (Transcribed by Melinda McLemore Strong, 2007)
