M. Olean Brooks, 73, Kansas City, Kansas died April 2, 1992, at Bethany Medical Center. She was born in Dunklin County, Missouri and lived in this area most of her life. Mrs. Brooks was a microfilm processor for Photo File Systems, retiring in 1983. She worked for the North American Aviation in World War II. She was a former member of the Quindaro Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Charles Brooks, Kansas City, Kansas; a daughter, Larry Jean Flint, Barling, Ark.; a brother Ivan Lester, Kansas City, Kansas; three sisters, Roberta Shows and Christine Dunnaway of Pasadena, Texas, and Eathel Hall, Tacoma, Washington; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Highland Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Highland Park Chapel. (Saturday, April 4, 1992 THE KANSAS CITY STAR).
Art Peck indicates that Olean was married second to a Howard BROOKS, and their son Charles was adopted.
