- DUNAWAY Christine B. DUNAWAY, 80, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2001 in Houston, Texas, followed by her husband, Robert L. DUNAWAY, 81, who went to be with her on Wednesday, May 23, 2001 in Pasadena, Texas. They were preceeded in death by their daughter, Sharron D. HALTOM. Mr. and Mrs. DUNAWAY are survived by their daughter, Ramona ROGERS, two grandchildren, Shelley and Robert ROGERS; three great-grandchildren, Christine, Mikki, and Blake Vera ROGERS; Mr. DUNAWAY is also survived by a brother, Elbert H. DUNAWAY and wife Violet; and Mrs. DUNAWAY by her sister, Roberta SHOWS and husband Bennie; and brother Ivan LESTER & wife Lois; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. The Families of Mr. and Mrs. DUNAWAY will be receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2001 in the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2001 in the Forest Park Lawndale "Chapel of Angels." Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale.
