Tetanus Fatal to Grace M. Mark
Grace Margaret Mark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mark, passed away at the Morris hospital Monday evening, after an illness of a few days with tetanus.
Grace was born July 18, 1914, in Cass City and has lived here all her life. She attended the Cass City school and was a member of the freshman class of this year. She will be greatly missed by her classmates and friends. Her quiet and retiring disposition led her to hide her best qualities from public gaze, but they were revealed to those who knew her best. It was in her home that her true worth was most conspicuous for she was a kind, loving daughter and sister.
Besides her parents, she leaves seven sisters and two brothers, Stella, Ruth, Emeline, Mary, Betty, Frances, Bonnie, Leitch and Archie.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the home, Rev. P.J. Allured officiated and burial was in Elkland cemetery.
