"Frank" Nance, age 75, of San Augustine, Texas passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021, in San Augustine, Texas Frank was born January 2, 1946, in San Augustine, Texas, to parents Winnie (Ponder) Nance and James A. Nance. After High School, he proudly served in the United States Army. After the military, he retired from Aerospace Engineering and then moved back to his beloved hometown of San Augustine with his beloved wife of 22 years Joann. He was an active member of the V.F.W. Post #9313, where he had served as Past Commander, and was a member of the Redland Masonic Lodge #3 in San Augustine. He was affiliated with the Antioch Church of Christ in San Augustine County, Texas. Those who are left to cherish his memory include his wife, Joann Nance of San Augustine; children, Amy Ivy and Tim of Azle, Texas, Theresa Sloan of N. Richland Hills, Texas, and Sean McCullough and Eva if Ft. Worth, Texas; brother, Johnny Nance and Phyllis; sister, Wendy Nance and Gordon Vaughn, along with 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Winnie and James A. Nance; son, Scotty Nance; daughter, Vannita Mayberry; brothers, Chuck Nance and Kenneth Nance. Pallbearers: Ty McCoy, Cody McCoy, Casey Nance, Casey Allen Nance, Brandon Sloan, Chris McCullough, Sean McCullough and Jody Nance. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, located at 316 West Columbia Street in San Augustine. Officiating will be Jeff Boyd with interment following in the Antioch Cemetery in San Augustine County, Texas. Visitation will be Thursday evening, November 4, 2021, from the hours of 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel in San Augustine.
