  Notes	May 23, 2019 Mel Brydl was born and raised in Wilber and spent the rest of his life in Lincoln. After graduating from UNL, he started his career in business at American Stores. In his free time, Mel was an avid gardener, accountant and bowler; he competed in 50 consecutive ABC tournaments. Mel will be remembered for his unique way of peppering his food and caring for his birdfeeders. Mel is interred in the mausoleum at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, near his daughter, Wendy. The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm on Sunday, June 2, at Fallbrook Assisted Living Center located at 6600 Juliet Ct, Lincoln.
