  Notes	Joe Wayne Jacks, 67, died Thursday morning in the Memorial Specialty Hospital in Lufkin, Texas. He was born in Pineland to Adrian and Althea Ann Cone Jacks. Wayne spent his childhood in Patlaka, Fl. and the family moved back to Yellowpine when he was seventeen. Wayne worked in construction as a carpenter and was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife Diann Jacks of Yellowpine, his son Adrian Jacks and his wife Tricia of Hemphill, his daughters; Guen Strickland and her husband John of Hemphill, Janet Sutton and her husband Ray of Yellowpine, Marie Williams and her husband Clay of Yellowpine, and his grandchildren; Kelcie, Brady, Katelyn and Amanda. Wayne was preceded in death by his brother Steve Wesley Jacks. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM, Saturday, December 21, 2013, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM, Sunday, December 22, 2013, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Yellowpine Cemetery.
