Verlene "Lynn" Oliver, 84, of Buna, Texas, died Monday, June 29, 2015.
She was born on June 24, 1931, in Pineland, Texas to Maggie Strickland Wilburn and Lihue Tandy Wilburn.
Verlene worked as a beautician at Lynn's Beauty Shop and Higgonbotham Drug in Buna. She also loved to portray Minnie Pearl on the Charlie Pruitt Show at the Jefferson Theatre in Beaumont.
Survivors include her daughters, Becky Wilkinson and her husband, Joe and Debra Hoose; four grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Allen Oliver.
Interment: Antioch Cemetery, Buna, Texas
