- Crystal Dawn Vickers, 38, passed away Wednesday morning, March 21, 2018, at her home in Sexton, Texas.
Crystal was born on the way to the hospital on Hwy 96N, Jasper County, Texas on October 24, 1979 to Milton Powell and Brenda Kaye Jacks. She was a graduate of Hemphill High School and later earned her Associates Vocational Nursing Degree. She worked as a nurse and was a housewife and mother. She was a lifelong resident of Sabine County and a member of Ephesus Baptist Church.
Crystal is survived by her husband, Mike Vickers of Sexton, Texas; her sons, Cooper Bice, Tristan Vickers, and Collin Vickers, all of Sexton; daughters, Tatom Vickers and Carsen Vickers, also of Sexton; father, Milton Powell of Milam, Texas; mother, Kaye Powell of Shelbyville, Texas; sisters, Brandy Gray of Chireno, Texas, Robin Dickerson and husband, Billy, of Hemphill, Texas and Amber Williams and husband, Matt, of Shelbyville, Texas; and nieces and nephews, Logan Vickers, Delaney Vickers, Audie Lawson Vickers, Connor Terry, Caleb Terry, Carter Terry, Reagan Gray, Emmalee Gray, Alaina Dickerson, Ethan Dickerson, Laila Williams, and Alli Williams.
Visitation will from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2018 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas.
Funeral services for Crystal will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Wheeler and Brandy Gray officiating.
Burial will follow in the family cemetery in Sexton, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers are Matt Williams, Billy Dickerson, Vance Vickers, Collin Vickers, Cooper Terry, and Ryan Beasley.
