She was born to Simon Ransom "Dutch" Kingsley and Ella A'della Wells Kingsley on June 22, 1943, in Broaddus. She married the love of her life, Charles Edward Kilcrease on December 24, 1960. They remained happily and lovingly married for 57 years when he passed in 2017. She was employed by the San Augustine ISD for more than 30 years, serving as secretary and cafeteria worker. She loved when "her kids" at school called her Nana. She never forgot a child's face of name and truly enjoyed seing them every day. Even long afer retirement she would recognize "her kids" from school and even maybe tell them something about themselves that had long been forgotten. She loved to play piano, and she shared her gift through service at her church as often as possible. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 23, 2019, at Liberty Hill Cemetery in San Augustine County with Rev. Frank Holrath officiating Mrs. Kilcrease was born June 22, 1943, in Broaddus, to S.R. "Dutch" Kingsley and Ella A'della Wells Kingsley. She was employed with the San Augustine School District, serving as secretary and also working in the cafeteria. As a hobby, she enjoyed playing the piano. Mrs. Kilcrease was a member of Rosevine Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by: Her daughters: Sharon Brittain and husband Travis Sheila Ponder Grandchildren: Jill Jefferson and husband Keith Jamey Brittain and wife Courtney Charles Brittain and wife Shanai Misty Ramirez Christi Miller and husband Chad Marsha Gage, and Nikki Brittain Great-grandchildren: Gracelyn Brittain Harper Harkness Hunter Mosley Jalyn Mosley Christopher Miller Austin Carpenter Megan Miller Morgan Jefferson Logan Jefferson Trace Brittain Jayeda Davis Aidan Davis Rylee Davis Payton Carpenter Great-great-grandchildren: Grayson Evans Elizabeth Miller Addisyn Mosley Brother: Buster Kingsley Sister-in-law: Joyce Davis and husband J.O.
