- The Striffler-Benkelman Broadcast, Volume 11, published September 6, 1948, reported that Margaret Spencer, of Bellville, was on the staff of the Jackson Co. Library at Indepence, Mo. The 1964 issue of the same periodical reported that she had been teaching for the past two years in the University of Honolulu while working on her Doctors Degree in Education.
Art Peck wrote that Dr. Spencer was an instructor at the University of Hawaii, in the department of Far Eastern Language.
