He was a member of Evadale Masonic Lodge and proudly served his country in the Army Air Force during WWII in Greenland. Survivors include his wife Joyce Stewart Harris; son David Harris, daughter Lyn Terry and husband Jim; grandsons Joshua Terry and Jordan Terry; brother Bobby Harris and sister Kathleen White.
