- Dorothy Lee (Ener) Webb, 90, of Geneva, Texas died early Tuesday morning, January 2, 2018. She spent the last week of her life in a Tyler hospital surrounded by family.
She was born June 30, 1927 at her home in Sabine County to Hamp and Bess Mae Ener. She graduated from Hemphill High School in 1945. During the next year she met and married the love of her life, Thomas Webb. They were married for over 67 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and growing beautiful flowers. She worked as a teacher's aid at Hemphill Elementary School and retired after 20 years of service. She was a member of Geneva Baptist Church for over 70 years. She served as a teacher, secretary, and treasurer for many years. She always opened her home to the many pastors that served the church.
She is survived by three children and spouses, Ray and Karen Webb of Houston, Kenneth and Teri Webb of Hemphill, and Kathy McGraw of Hemphill. Also, two step-daughters, Tommie Bowen and Bonnie Nulisch of Houston. She was blessed by seven grandchildren: Alicia Jeter, Kurt Webb, Heather Webb, Kenny Webb, Leslie Huval, Tom McGraw, and Lee McGraw. Also, 14 great grandchildren which she enjoyed rocking. She is also survived by one brother, Winfred Ener and wife, Mammie, of Milam.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Webb; sister, Bettie Mae McGraw; and son-in-law, Wade McGraw.

Visitation for Mrs. Webb will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Myrtle Springs Cemetery in Geneva.
