Stringer Funeral Home with burial in Davis Cemetery at Beulah Springs. McDaniel died at 7:30 a.m. Friday at his home. A native of Newton County, he lived in Kirbyville 45 years. He was a retired Baptist minister and mail carrier. Survivors include his wife, Dessie Worsham McDaniel of Kirbyville; a daughter, Mary Frances Kelley of Fort Worth; a son, Lester McDaniel of Jasper; a sister, Pearl Pulliam of Kirbyville; and four grandchildren.
