Notes |
- FindAGrave shows that he was born in Wilkes County, Georgia. His mother Selah/Celia Ann, born in North Carolina ca 1779/1780, was living with his family at the time of both the 1850 and 1860 Federal census.
The FindAGrave memorial (#34734655) for Reece Mathews, born 30 Oct 1810 in Georgia, states that Reece was a son of Abraham Mathews and Elizabeth Burroughs, and brother of Inlow. Reece is also buried in the Thomas cemetery, and lived in close proximity to Inlow at the time of the 1850 and 1860 census.

Additionally, in 1860, both families were listed with Selah/Celia/Cilia Mathews, age 80, born in North Carolina as a member of their household, even though they were in seperate homes. It is assumed they were brothers, and both sons of Celia Mathews.
