- Inez Tatom, 68, of Rosevine, passed away Tuesday evening in the home of her daughter in Friendswood, Texas. Inez was born in the Plainview Community, Sabine County, to Clyde and Marie Sanford Tatom. Inez graduated from West Sabine High School, Pineland, Texas, in 1964, where she lettered four years in basketball. She retired from the City of Deer Park and then worked as a clerk for Brookshire Brothers in Hemphill, Texas.
Inez is survived by her daughters; Sherry Renae Ladnier and her husband Tracy of Friendswood, Sharon Rachelle Sills and her husband Billy of Friendswood, her brothers; Eugene Tatom and his wife Gladys of Hemphill, Charles Tatom and his wife Barbara of Magnolia, her sister Delores Scott and her husband Glen of Center, her grandchildren; Tommy, Landon, Robert, Angelia, and Christina and her great grandson Trae.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM, Friday, October 10, 2014, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00AM, Saturday, October 11, 2014, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Plainview Cemetery, FM 1 and FM 2024, Pineland, Texas.
