Mildred Iles Jordan, 89, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 in Hemphill Care Center.
Mildred was born June 27, 1929 in Brookeland, Texas to Clarence Walls Iles and Onie Josephine Martin Iles. She was a wife and homemaker.
Mildred was a lifetime resident of Sabine County, Texas and a member of Hemphill Church of Christ. She and her late husband, Marvin, enjoyed traveling and RVing together. Mildred was also an artist that loved to paint.
She is survived by her nephews, Don Iles and wife, Angela, of Hemphill, Texas and James Iles, also of Hemphill; her sister-in-law, Betty Jordan of Hemphill; great nieces, Caitlyn Iles-Clifton and Makenna Iles; great nephews, Danny Iles and Chris Iles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin James Jordan.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.
Burial will follow services in Hemphill Cemetery.
