2. Maxie Brooks (1796-1863), m. 1830, Lucy Thornton (1812-78); James Fuller,
m. 1820, Nancy Bailey (d. 1862).
3. Simon Brooks (1766-1859), m. 1795, Phoebe Buffington (1769-1840); John
Fuller, m. 1770, Mary Shields. [Simon Brooks was said to be a millwright of acknowledged talent].
4. James Brooks, m. 1746, Elizabeth Smith (sic, other records show he was born to James Brooks by his second wife, a THOMASON)
James Brooks (1725-1800) served in the South Carolina militia as private
under Colonel Anderson. He was born in North Carolina; died in South
Carolina.
John Fuller (1749-1810) served as private under General Gates in South
Carolina militia. He was born and died in Camden District, S. C.
