Cass City was very ably represented in the graduation call of student nurses which took place Saturday at 9 a.m. in the chapel of Providence Hospital in Detroit by Miss Bonnie Mark. Miss Mark who had served as president of her class for the three years' training period, and who was manager of the basketball team for two seasons, led the parade into the chapel for the graduation exercises at which Bishop Babcock of Detroit officiated.
Following the program, a reception was held in the nurses' home for the students and guests.
Miss Mark arrived at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mark, in Cass city on Tuesday accompanied by two classmates, the Missed Jeanne Otterbeing and Deloris Stepanovich, both of whom claim Grand Rapids as their home. Thursday, all three young ladies left for Grand Rapids where Miss Mark will spend the week end and then will come to her home here and remain until May 1, when she will return to Providence Hospital.
When her father's obituary was published, in 1982, she was listed as being of "St. Louis, MO."
