    • James Donald McClelland, 77, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 in Harbor Hospice of Beaumont, Texas.

      Donald was born January 22, 1941 in Sabine County, Texas to Archie Daniel McClelland and Clara Harley McClelland. He was a logger in the timber industry.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Martha McClelland, brother Demp McClelland, and sister Bertie Harrison.

      He is survived by his daughters, Ramona "Peanut" Ward and husband, Joey, of Orange, Texas and Donna Longoria and husband, Jessie, of Zwolle, Louisiana; grandchildren, J. R. West of Beaumont, Texas, Janna West of Orange, Texas, David Earl Evans, Jr. of San Augustine, Texas, Jessica Sepulvado and husband, Kurt, of Zwolle, Louisiana, Steve Longoria and wife, Crystal, of Zwolle, and Kayla Longoria, of Zwolle; and great grandchildren, J. D. Evans of Orange, Texas, Lydia Sepulvado and Steve Sepulvado, both of Zwolle.

      Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 26 and Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas.

      Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Curtis White officiating.

      Burial will follow services in Lott Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home.
