- David Franklin Ener
David Franklin Ener, 61, died in the Hemphill Care Center, Friday, April 6, 2012, after an illness.
He was born in Jasper, TX, to Willie F. and Onie Smith Ener. He graduated high school in Nederland before moving with his family to Yellowpine. He had worked for Temple Inland in the raw lumber processing department in Pineland. Ener was a member of the Yellowpine Macedonia Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sisters, Kathy Brown and Danny, and Gaynell Arney and Rick, all of Hemphill; a number of nieces and nephews; and his aunt, Jessie Ener [nee Morris] of Yellowpine.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 9, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Yellowpine Cemetery in Yellowpine.
