Services for Carolyn Laurence Love, 70, of Lufkin, were held July 3, 1999 in the Chapel of The Last Supper in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park with burial in the Garden of Memories Memorial park.
Mrs. Love was the daughter to the late Arlie Adell (Clark) and John Samuel Laurence. Mrs. Love was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lufkin. She was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, the National Audubon Society and the American Genealogical Society. She was an acccomplished pianist, and had been a resident of Lufkin all her life. She loved music, nature, all the beauty of life and above all, God.
Survivors: husband of 55 years, William H. Love; sons, Mark Love and Ben Love; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Susan Love; daughter and son-in-law, Daphne and Bennie Latham; daughters, Jenifer Smith; Cynthia Love Freeman;"fourth son," Henry Guzman; grandchildren, Rodney Latham and wife Melissa, Cristi Nerren and husband Mark, Shellie Love, Laurence Love, Samuel Freeman, Brandon Love, Reanna Smith and Matthew Smith; great-grandchildren, Kelli Nerren and Corbin Love; sisters, Selma Garrett, Elaine L. Love; sisters-in-law, Marguerite Laurence, Dorothy Lareence; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, James Lee Laurence and J. S. Laurence, Jr.
