Services for John Samuel (Johnny) Lawrence, Jr., 82, of Lufkin, were held December 31, 1997 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Mr. Lawrence was retired from Texas Foundry as a general foreman. He was a member of Lufkin's First Baptist Church and Angelina Sams a chapter of the Good Sams Club.
Survivors: wife, Margueritte Lawrence
Son and daughter-in-law, Phillip L. and Mehe Lawrence.
