- Funeral services for Ronald "Ronny" Herrington, 58, of Lufkin will be held in the Greater Love Tabernacle. Graveside services will be held in the Pineland Cemetery in Pineland.
Mr. Herrington was born October 9, 1958 in Pineland, Texas to Bobbie M. (Clark) and the late Charles E. Herrington, and died Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in Lufkin.
Mr. Herrington had resided in Lufkin for the past 26 years and in Huntington prior to that. He worked in Maintenance at Perry Brothers for more than 15 years and also at Hudson High School. He loved computers, science fiction, hunting and painting. Mr. Herrington loved to laugh and make others laugh. He was a member of Greater Love Tabernacle UPC.
Survivors include his wife, Carla Herrington; son and daughter-in-law, Johnathan Golembiewski and Margaret; mother, Bobbie Herrington; sister and brother-in-law, Linda Dale and Randy; brother and sister-in-law, James R. Herrington and Maryd; brother, Samuel R. Herrington; father-in-law and wife, Joe and Ruby Goins; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Shelia Goins; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Herrington and mother-in-law, LaVerne Goins.
