Notes |
- At the time of the 1920 Federal Census brothers Roy and Leo were boarders at a hotel run by Frank and Mary Morrison on Browndell Road in Jasper County, Texas. Roy was 18, and Leo 16, both single, and both employed as laborers at a saw mill, as were most the other boarders. He must have married soon after this, as by 1930 he was farming, with his younger half-brother Vessie in Sabine County, and shown as married for 10 years.
