After the wedding the group mounted their horses or climbed in buggies and went to the home of the groom's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Wilson, for a big wedding supper. Their first home was on Godwin Bend, on the Sabine River, where Mr. Causey was engaged in the timber business with his parents..."
