Notes |
- John W. Clark writes that Andrew was "working for some sheep people in Texas when he was sent to Dallas to sell the wool. He was accused of absconding with the money and was put in prison for the offense. He wrote his brother, James Sebe Clark, to bring him a horse and a suite of clothes and some money to a certain meeting place. Sebe did as he was requested. Andy broke out of prison, came to the meeting place and rode away, never to be heard from. A letter from the Texas State Prison at Huntsville, TX indicates they have no record of him as per information furnished."
